Town of Vail Draws Winning Homebuyer for a for a Home in North Trail Townhomes
Following the application process for the sale of 2477 Garmisch Drive, North Trail Townhome Unit C, there were 234 qualified applicants eligible for the lottery, which took place at 10 a.m. April 17. There were 564 tickets in the drawing with a maximum of 3 tickets per applicant.
The top three applicants drawn will receive a notification via email from the housing department, including a link to confirm a meeting time prior to 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 18 to review the required documents for the final determination of eligibility. To be eligible for purchase, if selected, the applicant shall demonstrate compliance with the eligibility requirements no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 18.

Applicants received a minimum of one lottery ticket by submitting a complete online application. Additional lottery tickets were awarded, up to a maximum of three total, based upon the following criteria:
Not owning non-deed restricted real estate within the Town of Vail at the time of the lottery application submission = 1 ticket
Unsuccessful participation in a Town of Vail housing public lottery process within the previous 24 months of the scheduled lottery date. Applicants who were selected and did not proceed forward with a purchase are not eligible for this ticket. Eligibility shall be restored 24 months after having been selected and purchase declined = 1 ticket
