Request an Inspection

Contractors now have multiple options available for requesting inspections.

1. Contractors may request inspections by emailing inspections@vailgov.com. To ensure your request will be honored, be sure to provide the correct permit number corresponding to the inspection requested. When requesting electrical inspections, please use the corresponding electrical permit number. When submitting this email, please include the following information 1) Permit Number; 2) Requested Inspection Type; 3) Onsite contact name & phone number; 4) Special instructions related to this inspection.
2. Requesting in person at the Community Development Office.
3. Completing this form: Inspection Request Form.

Inspection requests received by 4 p.m. Monday through Friday will be scheduled the next business day. Requests received after 4 p.m., over the weekend or Town of Vail observed holiday will be scheduled the second business day.
