The 9-member Vail Local Marketing District Advisory Council meets on the third Thursday of each month at 8:30 a.m. If you'd like to attend please email lgladitsch@vailgov.com to be added to the distribution list.

Apply for VLMD Board

Town Council of the Town of Vail is accepting applications for one (1) vacant position that exist on the Vail Local Marketing District Advisory Council (VLMDAC).  There is one mid-term position available from February 1, 2024 and expiring December 31, 2025.  Please note this seat has traditionally been held by a Vail Resorts Marketing representative, although this is not required.

On Tuesday, February 6, 2024, interested persons will be interviewed at the town council afternoon meeting, with a final selection being made during the evening meeting.  Persons interested in serving on the VLMDAC fill out the application below. Responsibilities

This volunteer board is responsible for making recommendations to the Vail Town Council, which serves as the Vail Local Marketing District Board, for summer and shoulder season marketing programs funded by a 1.4 percent Vail lodging tax.

VLMDAC Members

Anyone interested in serving on the Advisory Council must be an owner of real property or taxable personal property in Vail. Corporations or entities that own property within the Town of Vail may forward a designee from their corporation or entity to be considered on the Advisory Council.
