Vail Public Library not only offers fiction and non-fiction books, audiobooks and DVDs for checkout, it also offers access to electronic resources including audiobooks, books, magazines, music, and video with a library card.
Other library services include: nearly 300 magazine subscriptions, internet computers, free WIFI, and special programs for all ages.
The Vail Public Library is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The library is located on the town's bus route across from Dobson Ice Arena at the east end of Lionshead (292 W. Meadow Dr.)

Booth Heights Parcel Value Set at Just Over $17.5 million; Vail Town Council to Determine Course of Action on Oct. 3
A three-person commission appointed by the Eagle County District Court has determined the value of the 23-acre Booth Heights property to be $17,519,985. The Vail Town Council is scheduled to discuss the matter during its Oct. 3 regular evening meeting which begins at 6 p.m.

Most Town of Vail municipal offices and the Vail Public Library will be closed on Monday, Sept. 4 in observance of Labor Day.

Town of Vail to Sponsor Annual Neighborhood Picnics July 11 and Aug. 8
The Town of Vail’s annual Celebrating Community neighborhood picnic series returns this summer. The first picnic will be held Tuesday, July 11 at Bighorn Park in East Vail with another Tuesday, Aug. 8 at Donovan Pavilion in West Vail.
