CSE meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month. The meetings are held in the Town Council Chambers. The meetings will be streamed online via zoom.
The five-member Committee on Special Events generally meets at 8:30am on the 1st Wednesday of each month in the Vail Municipal Building and is responsible for:
- Creating and implementing a special event strategy for the Town of Vail
- Allocating funds budgeted by the Town of Vail for special events
- Evaluating event applications and sponsorship proposals
- Other functions designated by the Vail Town Council

Anyone interested in serving on the voluntary board must be a resident of the Town of Vail or either own real property, own a business or be employed within the town.
Special Event Sponsorship Requests
Each year, the Town publishes an RFP for event sponsorship proposals. There are 2 cycles for funding occurring in Fall and Spring each year. 2024 events can apply for sponsorship funding here - www.vailgov.com/cserfp.
