The Town of Vail is seeking innovative and exciting sponsorship proposals for special events in 2024. The Town has been host to a variety of events including art festivals, concerts ranging from classical to EDM to rock, culinary events, parades, world championship sporting events and more. Events in Vail are in important part of not just a vibrant economy, but the culture of the community.

The 2nd cycle of sponsorship requests is now open.  Producers must submit all the required information via the online application portal found here:

Application submissions are due by:

11:59 pm, Wednesday January 31, 2024.

  • Monday, January 15: RFP Submission portal is open
  • Wednesday, January 24: Questions about the RFP are due via email.
  • Friday January 26: Submitted questions & answers will be emailed and posted to the www.vailgov.com/cserfp
  • Wednesday January 31: APPLICATION SUBMISSION DEADLINE
  • Wednesday, February 7: Commission on Special Events meet & review qualifying applications during Regular Commission on Special Events Meeting. 
    • Event Producers interviewed at this special meeting.
    • Event Sponsorship Funding recommendation from CSE will be determined at a special meeting.
  • Thursday, February 8: CSE meets to compile scores and make sponsorship recommendations.
  • Tuesday, February 20:  Vail Town Council will review the event sponsorship allocations.
  • Wednesday, February 21: Applicants will be notified of their preliminary funding allocations.
    • August 2024 – Anticipated publishing of the RFP for 2025 event sponsorship requests.
