The Town of Vail will sponsor another installment in its Lunch with the Locals series on Wednesday, Sept. 6 at noon at the Grand View Room above Lionshead Welcome Center. Vail Fire & Emergency Services, Fire Marshal Ryan Ocepek, will be providing education about fire safety and best practices with lithium-ion batteries. The presentation will also include known fire facts about electric vehicles and mobility devices, along with best practices for the storage and charging of lithium-ion battery devices. Experts from Vail Fire and Town of Vail will be on hand to answer questions. There will also be stickers and informational brochures given away to attendees.
