Most Town of Vail municipal offices and the Vail Public Library will be closed on Monday, Sept. 4 in observance of Labor Day. The police front counter in the Municipal Building will also be closed on Sept. 4; however, services will still be available via the call button at the main entrance. Call 911 for police, fire or medical emergencies or 970-479-2201 to speak to an officer for non-emergency questions. 

Vail Transit services and the Vail Welcome Centers will operate uninterrupted through the holiday. Town services are also available online at www.vailgov.com. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 5. 

Residents are reminded that the Labor Day holiday may mean some schedule adjustments for local trash haulers. Town of Vail wildlife protection regulations prohibit trash from being left at the curb other than on the day of collection and recycling regulations require that all properties recycle on site.
